May 22nd, 2023: Everlast announced his retirement from touring in a post since deleted, but archived here / no known plans or other news
news: site
this site is now in archive mode; no further updates will be made, unless Everlast comes back from retirement / please read: a note regarding Everlast's Instagram cleanups and broken links / download the official acappella for "Jump Around" (download of the season)
there are currently no known plans for releases - previously collected information remains here for archival purposes.
The Troubadour and the Turntable
(The Life Acoustic Volume 2)
while first being mentioned in 2014 and again in early 2020, what was supposed to be Everlast's eight studio album ("The Life Acoustic" not counted) wasn't properly announced until February/March 2021 when Everlast claimed he was "finishing [it] up". produced by Divine Styler, it was supposed to feature DJ Lord (Public Enemy/Cypress Hill tour DJ/ex-Prophets of Rage) as well as Bryan Velasco (Everlast's keyboard player since 2013), and would contain re-worked versions of older songs as well as one new song. mixing began in May 2021 and concluded in August/September of that year, but the last time the album was even mentioned was in June 2022. since then, as of December 2024, there have not been any more updates on its progress.
other things
Everlast claimed the year 2021 would be his "busiest ever, release wise" and said that there would be "four albums over the span of two years". among these were supposed to be an album with B-Real and another one with an unmentioned "hiphop heavy hitter" (briefly mentioned in a live stream in March 2021). he has later also made a few more hints on new material, none of which has surfaced to date.
songs and other things that remain unreleased
the information was collected from various places: the artists' own words in interviews/social media posts etc., articles and ASCAP/BMI/etc databases. if possible, all sources are being linked to. some of the things here were only mentioned once, others were mentioned repeatedly, so one can only conclude that some exist (such as the Shooter Jennings album, for which "songwriting was done" at some point) - while others probably don't (meaning they never left the planning stage). in any case, handle this list with extreme care.
years are all approximate/circa, only tracks/songs are listed, unless otherwise noted
1992
Lordz Of Brooklyn and House Of Pain - Unknown Title(s)
more than one demo confirmed to be existing by Kaves in an April 2020 live stream

remixed by or featuring Japanese producer, MC or singer Yumi Yoshimoto
creation year, however, seems to be 2016 according to Warner/Chappell
1996
Killa Rhyme Klik - unreleased recordings
according to Divine Styler, Everlast may still have the tapes for a couple recorded songs of this short lived group
2000
Everlast - Save My Soul (BMI)

registered ca. 2000 when Keefus was Everlast's live and studio keyboarder.
2002
Everlast - Untitled
*2001-2002, the last chapter in the Eminem beef saga; while its existence was
only just recently revealed by B-Real, it remained unreleased for good reasons

Repetition Kills You aka War Song (BMI, ESL)
House Up On The Hill (BMI, HFA Song Code T1865P)
Gone to Main Street (ESL)
Got Urself a Gun (ESL)
all written with Keefus Ciancia, probably during the "Love, War and the Ghost Of Whitey Ford" sessions,
registered with ASCAP/BMI/ESL, but the songs may actually have never been recorded, or they have been recorded
under different titles and then registered twice for some reason (e.g. "House Up On The Hill" could be an early
version of "The Ocean").
asking Everlast about those songs did not help at all
also, the last two songs in the list share writing credits with Ellas McDaniel, McKinley Morganfield (Muddy Waters)
Melvin London and are only listed by ESL, they may be either songs that sample Muddy Waters and/or just
Saving Grace score cues (which are actually registered separately on BMI and only credited to Everlast/Keefus).
Everlast - Folsom Prison Blues (Extended Version)

another track from these sessions could be featuring Madchild
2019
Kool Keith - Unknown Title featuring Everlast
produced by Psycho Les, the track was supposed to appear on the album "Keith".
the promo text the label shipped with the album reads as follows
The album features B-Real (Cypress Hill), Everlast, Paul Wall and Jeru The Damaja.
La Coka Nostra (2006-2009)
DJ Muggs produced both an original unreleased version of "Do It" as well as one other track that did not make it onto the debut album. also, according to group members' various statements, there are probably 10 or more unreleased tracks, including such produced by FredWreck, Sick Jacken, Evidence and even one featuring Son Doobie.
previously mentioned or announced stuff to precede/support/accompany the debut album, none of which ever materialised:
a DVD included with the album was announced to contain a "making of" as well as music videos for "That's Coke" and "I'm An American", plus an EP called "The Leak Collection" containing 8-9 tracks that were previously released or did not appear on the album. an official version of the first single to buy (Everlast MySpace blog post; June 4, 2006), a mixtape (Everlast MySpace blog post; January 16, 2007), a 12" vinyl single with two new tracks from the album (Slaine bostonrap.com posting; June 25, 2007), volume 2 of the "LCN Radio" mixtape (private DJ Eclipse email; Fall 2007) and a track on Ill Bill's second album (various interviews/MySpace banner ads; 2008). additionally, in 2011 there were talks about an EP release - almost one year after Everlast last toured with LCN and one year before his official departure.
[all of the above is combined and counted as one for the sum of unreleased tracks]
"Cull" sessions (2012-2017)
"Cull" - which means "a selective slaughter of inferior or diseased species" - was announced in 2012 to be the title of Everlast's seventh solo studio album. at that tinme, Everlast said it would be his "personal love letter to hiphop" and revealed it would probably be his final hiphop record, he did not announce the title unntil November 2015, with a release planned for late Spring 2016. however, in late 2017/early 2018, both the concept was shelved and the title was changed - at this point it was not supposed to be pure hiphop anymore, probably because of "Warporn Industries" which was released in the meantime.
the original album was to feature many guests - as much as 20 have supposedly agreed to be on it - with the confirmed names being Divine Styler, Ryu, De La Soul, Slug (of Atmosphere), Evidence, Termanology, Big Daddy Kane and Aloe Blacc. production by Everlast himself (including guitar playing), Evidence, Alchemist, Nottz, Divine Styler, Statik Selektah, possibly FredWreck and maybe even Pharrell Williams (though the last two names were never confirmed), also featuring former tour guitarist/bass player JT Weatley.
following the release of "Whitey Ford's House Of Pain" in 2018, most of these recordings appeared on some of the respective artists' solo albums, on Warporn Industries and of course on "WFHOP" itself. comparing the preliminary studio chalkboard tracklist to the final version of the album shows that only "So Happy" and "Type Sinner" did not end up on the revised concept/title album (unless only their titles have been changed to "Don't Complain" and "Smokin' & Drinkin", respectively) and of the announced featured artists, De La Soul, Nottz, DJ Skizz ("Voices", check the year 2016 above) and JT Weatley are absent.

FAQ (site/artist)
pick a question from the dropdowns below
about the site and who's behind it
short version:
this is a fan site, created by a fan for other fans.
it's not built, owned, endorsed, moderated, funded, supported by or affiliated with Everlast, his representatives or his record label.
long version:
my name is mihau and this is my project - an unofficial fan site, built by a fan for fans. it is dedicated to the works of Everlast, the rapper/singer/songwriter. its aim is to collect all possible info on Everlast's work as rapper, singer, songwriter and musician with a focus set on studio recordings. over the years, it became a full fledged fan site with everything relevant listed on one page. though established in 2006, it's technically a relic from the 90s, when there was no such thing as "social media" so nobody could set up a profile/page in a mere seconds.
while everything here is collected with great accuracy and published to my best knowledge (sources are linked to whenever available), at the end of the day some of it may be total bullshit - especially the sections about upcoming/unreleased stuff, as all the information is derived from interviews and social media posts. so unless it's printed somewhere on a CD/Vinyl sleeve, don't take it for written in stone :) also, nothing here is proofread or spellchecked, so please excuse any typos and such (let alone the fact that I am not a native English speaker).
privacy:
a cookie is set and an external script is loaded as StatCounter is used for user statistics.
additionally, a cookie is set if you use the "color theme/mode" function to remember your preference.
but other than that, no tracking is used, no other normal or persistent cookies are set, no external scripts or images are loaded.
oh and fuck the GDPR.
if there's anything else you'd like to know, get in contact
in terms of everything related to Everlast's music, this site should be complete (unless explicitly noted otherwise).
there were no releases at all in 1991, 2015 and 2022, hence no database entries for those years / and if the only difference between two releases is the cover art or track order (not track listing), only one item (usually the first one) is listed
not included are things such as fan-made mp3 compilations, live bootlegs/unofficial concert recordings, so-called "freestyles" (old verses performed live), semi-official live recordings of single songs (often to be found on radio station compilations and such), official or bootleg compilations of previously released songs and pointless dance remixes. (a few examples of pointless releases not included in the database) a few examples of pointless releases not included in the database:
Limited Edition Greatest Hits Mini CD, Jump Around Jason Nevins Remixes, Whitey's Ultimate Collection Of Rare And Unreleased Tracks, King Sun - Heat 4 Da Streets, The Best Of House Of Pain and Everlast, La Coka Nostra - The Maple Leaf Massacre, Mr. Paul - Almost There: The Weldon Paul Story, Live At Open Air Gampel, Live in Centralstation
Everlast on the "Best Of" release (everlastmusic.com, 2004):
There is a so called best of HOP record being released by Rhino that noone in HOP had anything to do with, we didn't pick the songs and are not endorsing it what so ever. So be warned! I don't think it is a good representation of our best work.
if you are looking for pictures (press material or otherwise), this is not the right place either. try Google's - or any other engines' - image search, or press photo services/databases. and as for Everlast's cameos as an actor, or for previously released songs used in feature films and on TV, check IMDb.
his so far only relevant work outside of music is the narration of - at least half of - the 2022 graffitti documentary "Can't Be Stopped"
a small guide.
external links:
external links are immediately followed by the "" icon, you can right click/open these in a new tab or window -
but otherwise all links are internal and in order to work properly, they need to be clicked on with the left mouse button.
deep links:
if you click the "" symbol, you will be taken to a place where you can generate a deep link to this site for the given section. this is because here, unlike other sites, everything is listed on one page (with very few exceptions).

a list of groups that Everlast was or is connected with
Rhyme Syndicate (1988-1991)
Rhyme Syndicate was a short-lived, loose collective of MCs signed to Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate Records imprint and included, among others, the following (and more) rappers, producers and DJs: Ice-T, Randy Mac, Nat The Cat, Donald D, Bronx Style Bob, Hen-Gee, Shaquel Shabazz, Toddy Tee, Everlast, MC Taste, Divine Styler
House Of Pain (1992-1996; occasional live reunions: 2009-2017)
after Everlast's debut solo album flopped and he was released from Warner records, he teamed up with his disc jockey (and one-time beatboxer) Leor Dimant aka DJ Lethal and his school friend Danny O'Connor aka Danny Boy (hype man, who brought the name House Of Pain from a short-lived punk rock band) to form one of hiphop's most famous white groups. in 1996, after three more or less successfull albums and numerous tours, the group disbanded literally on the night of the release party for their last album.
in the 2010s, Everlast decided to, quote, "milk the Irish thing a little bit" and began playing "House Of Pain" shows each year on St. Patrick's Day - some with and some without his old bandmates. also, some of his solo tours were billed as group tours despite the fact that DJ Lethal did not participate (due to scheduling conflicts with his other group, Limp Bizkit). during the 25th anniversary tour in 2017, Everlast had a fall out with Danny Boy and decided to put the group to rest for good.
Killa Rhyme Klik (1996)
not just track 12 on "...Rise Again" - it was also a short lived attempt of founding a new group, formed by Divine Styler & Cockni O'Dire (aka the Original Scheme Team), Frank Fiend and Everlast. according to Divine Styler, there were a couple recordings made that mostly remained unreleased - but "Womb To The Tomb" and "Killa Rhyme Klik" itself might be two of them.
Soul Assassins (1992-1995; 1999-)
the Soul Assassins are a loose collective of artists from Cypress Hill itself, their members, associates and affiliates
The White Folx (late 90s-early 00s)
for a short period of time, Everlast's live backing band was unofficially dubbed "The White Folx".
no releases (save for live recordings).
Last Of The Real B-Boys (2000)
one-off group made of Rahzel and Everlast for a live performance of "Children's Story" and "What It's Like" on the Carson Daly TV show
no releases.
Mary Jane's Boyfriend/Los Marijuanos (2001)
short lived live jam band made of various members of other bands.
no releases.
La Coka Nostra (2006-2010; official departure 2012)
La Coka Nostra emerged from The Knockout Kingz, a group originally brought together by "project co-ordinator" Danny Boy, consisting of DJ Lethal, Slaine, Optimus and Big Left (among other people in the group's earliest days). Ill Bill joined shortly before Non Phixion disbanded, Optimus left because of creative differences and Everlast joined last. Big Left quit in 2009, DJ Lethal hasn't toured with the group since around the same time and Everlast officially left La Coka Nostra in early 2012 (though the last time he toured or recorded with the group was in 2010).
with the original lineup, the group has recorded only one album.
Warporn Industries (2016-2017)
short lived group formed in 2016 during the recording sessions for "Cull".
it consisted of Everlast, producer and MC Divine Styler and Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm
producers that Everlast has worked or still works with
Bilal Bashir (1988-1990)
Warner/Rhyme Syndicate era, most of "Forever Everlasting" and related singles
DJ Lethal (1990-1996; 2005-2017)
started as Everlast's tour DJ, then began producing as well and co-founded House Of Pain; he handled some production on House Of Pain's debut and sophomore albums and all of their third album (with Everlast). he went on producing most of La Coka Nostra's debut and also occasionally appeared on Everlast solo releases before House Of Pain was put to rest for good.
DJ Muggs (1992-1995; 1999-)
DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill produced the hit "Jump Around" as well as the majority on their first two albums. after a fall out and reconciliation in the mid 90s, he continues to work with Everlast on select releases.
Everlast (1996; 2011-)
after doing so on the third HOP album, it wasn't until "Songs of the Ungrateful Living" that
Everlast began to produce or co-produce most of his own music
Divine Styler (1997-1998; 2017-)
rapper and producer, originally a L.A. hiphop legend and personal friend of Everlast who helped producing some tracks in the period between House Of Pain and "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues". later he became an imporant producer, with projects such as Warporn Industries, "Whitey Ford's House Of Pain" as well as future works.
Dante Ross and John Gamble aka SD50s/Stimulated Dummies (1998-2004)
Dante Ross (originally an A&R for Tommy Boy) and his engineering partner John Gamble (deceased 2020) helped crafting Everlast's breakthrough album "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues" and following works
Keefus Ciancia (2000-2007)
producer and studio/tour keyboarder worked with Everlast on "Love, War and the Ghost of Whitey Ford"; together, they also provided the musical score to many "Saving Grace" episodes. Keefus has sinced moved to France.
other producers: honorable mentions
FredWreck and Alchemist (several productions from each), Darius Holbert (most of "Songs of the Ungrateful Living") and, since 2013, Bryan Velasco (studio/live keyboard player)
frequent collaborators: groups, crews and artists
Ice-T/Rhyme Syndicate (late 80s/very early 90s), Soul Assassins/Cypress Hill camp and solo members' DJ Muggs, B-Real and Sen Dog projects (since 91, with a short interruption in the mid 90s), Lordz Of Brooklyn (aka The Lordz, since 91; Kaves helped out with rhymes during some HOP live shows in the early 90s), Swollen Members (since the late 90s), La Coka Nostra and extended camp/members' solo projects (since mid 00s)

"Martyr Inc." explained by Everlast himself (blog.martyr-inc.com, December 5th, 2007):
For Everyone who is wondering what this means and is somehow equating support for terrorism with the name of my label and website all I can say is WTF? A Martyr is someone who is killed or willingly dies for a cause they believe in period. It has nothing to any particular religion. There have been Martyrs of every religion race and creed. Secondly it's a play on words reminiscent of the old gangster organization known as Murder Inc. (you know where the rap label stole it's [sic!] name). I will say though that I very purposely am juxtaposing these ideas against each other to make people think about why we are all being pitted against one another racially, religiously and nationally. Who's really benefitting from worldwide conflict? I am Muslim. I do not however support suicide bombings or any act that takes a life that isn't a direct act of defending ones own life. I don't know how much clearer I can be... Instead of questioning trivial things like the name of my label go out and ask your congressman and senator some REAL questions about what they are doing to our beautiful country. Thanks for all the support and the questions... Without questions there are no answers.

broken links
technology companies/video hosters such as Google and Vimeo make it harder and harder to automatically check for broken links. when a client program requests a page, instead of sending a proper HTTP status code, their servers ALWAYS say "200 FOUND", meaning all is OK - even if the page/the video is long since deleted or if it requires an age verification/login because of its 'sensitive content' (e.g. "Stone in my Hand" video).
that being said, instead of performing an automated link check once a week, those checks now require both automation and a manual extra check and thus will only be performed once a month from October 2022 on.
please excuse broken links in the meantime - except for Instagram links:
Instagram cleanups (previously: "Instagram exit")
in March 2022, after half a decade of using his Instagram account as his primary communication channel to the public, Everlast deleted each and every posting he has ever made there. and he continues to do so from time to time ever since.
given the fact that Instagram became his social media site of choice after abandoning Twitter and that martyr-inc.com has virtually no contents, this decision has impact on the very site you are reading - it breaks hundreds of links pointing to all the music-related posts, including release announcements ("Cull", "The Life Acoustic II: The Troubadour and the Turntable"), possible collaborations, other future plans and of course all the "Acoustic Sessions" (or "Whitey Ford Wednesdays") videos, many of which were not uploaded to YouTube.
those dead links will not be removed.
